Welcome to a space for young people who are passionate and determined to shape the future of rural areas in Slovakia. The Rural Youth Parliament in Slovakia is a dynamic platform for young people from all over Slovakia to meet, discuss, and collaborate with the aim of innovating and strengthening rural communities. The Slovak Republic has long had a National Youth Parliament, which brings together local youth parliaments and represents them on a national level. These parliaments do not, however, concern themselves with regional and local politics in rural areas, and the absence of such concerns causes problems in terms of young people's willingness to remain and implement any policies to improve the quality of their life in such a way that inspires them to not leave the countryside. That is why we decided to establish
Civil Association Rural Youth Parliament in Slovakia (OZ VPMS).
